Ternate, North Maluku, Aug 15 (Antara) - The Indonesian sea authorities would sink two Philippine fishing boats caught recently illegally fishing in Indonesian sea territory.

The two boats would be sent to the bottom of the seas to coincide with the commemoration of the national independence day on August 17, Commander of the Morotai navy unit Lt. Col. Indra J Rerangin said here on Monday.

The Task Force 115 is now looking for the right location where the sinking of the two vessels would take place, Indra said.

"There are more than 20 foreign fishing vessels to meet the same fate in Runai on August 17 ,but only two in Ternate," he said.

Most of the crew of the two Philippine boats have been handed overt o the immigration office , only two including the skipper are held to face legal process.
