Tual, SE Maluku, April 16 (Antara) - Tual City and Southeast Maluku District (Malra) have extraordinary tourism potentials that could be developed into main sources of income for the regions, a political party leader said.

"I have been here for two days and I took the opportunity to upload the two regions` tourism objects on my Facebook and Twitter accounts. It turned that netizens gave it a great response," Muhaimin Iskandar, the executive chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB), said here on Sunday.

Muhaimin Iskandar who is a former manpower minister and popularly called Cak Imin, was in Tual and Southeast Maluku for a holiday after attending a regional meeting of PKB in Ambon, the provincial capital of Maluku.

For a picnic, Cak Imin among others visited Tual`s Ngurbloat(long beach), Goa Hawang Cave in Southeast Maluku and Pulau Bair island which is often referred to as the `mini` portrait of Raja Ampat.

According to Cak Imin, the tourism potentials of the two regions are very attractive for domestic and foreign tourists if they are developed well.
